Looks like CSIS has really become a
circus in the past few years. Does
ship-of-fools come to anyone's mind?
Really makes you wonder who is at the
helm.

CSIS MOVES SPIES
The Globe and Mail discovered this
week that the Canadian Secuity
Intelligence Service has moved some of
its top employees, saying it has
obtained a list of CSIS employee names.
This leak of names is considered
another black mark on the reputation of
the intelligence service which has
suffered recently from several other
security leaks, including the theft of a
brief-case of strategic plans from a car
in Toronto last fall.
The leak identifies the newly
appointed officers to a variety of
positions including the head of
counter-intelligence, the Toronto Region
Director, and the Washington D.C. based
Liaison Officer for the FBI and CIA.

RCMP INVESTIGATES
FAKE PASSPORTS
The RCMP is sending investigators to
Lebanon to look into the sale of forged
Canadian passports and visas to former
soldiers, offering another indication
that Canada’s immigration department
is out of control.
The RCMP has reopened the
investigation into the mismanagement of
overseas immigration and sale of fake
passports a few weeks ago after
complaints were received stating that
forgers are making a bundle.
Reports indicate that former army
personnel, looking to vacate the region,
bought passports and visas for as much
as $3000.00 Canadian.
A Canadian Press article states:
“The authorities were spurred into
investigating the matter when
allegations surfaced that members of the
army with possible links to crime
against humanity were showing up in
Canada.” |
